Born Gillingham, Kent in 1941.
After A/L's spent two terms teaching a primary class in a local RC school and converted to Catholicism just before attending university.
B A Economics at University of Leicester 1960-63.
Certificate in Education 1964.
Taught History in RC comprehensive in Chatham 1964-1966.
Head of Economics 1966-1974 at St Thomas Aquinas RC Grammar School Birmingham.
Headmaster 1974-1978 Pope John 23rd Comprehensive Corby Northants. Member of Ministry of Education group that spent 5 weeks in Portland Oregon and lived at Jesuit High School in 1976.
Applied to join the Jesuits in Autumn of 1977 and entered the novitiate in Portland Oregon in September 1978.
M A in Education Administration Fordham University NY September 1980 to September 1981.
Transferred to British Province in September 1981.
Taught Economics Wimbledon College 1981-1982.
Studied Philosophy Milltown Park Dublin 1982-1983.
B D Heythrop College London University 1983-1986.
Ordained by Cardinal Basil Hume June 21st 1986.

From 2010 to present living in Glasgow and giving presentations and courses on Scripture and Art. Have lectured on Scripture and Art in Los Angeles, Berkeley, Singapore, Brisbane and Sydney as well as U K.
The focus of my ministry is to deepen our relationship with the Christ of the Scriptures with the aid of the wonderful images in painting, frescoes, mosaics, sculpture and stained glass from the catacombs to the present day. I have over 20,000 images in my collection.
